14	The Utility Billing software now has the capability of allowing customers to view and pay their bills online as well as offer a lockbox option so customers can pay at a specified location, such as a local bank. Implementation of these services must be coordinated with LGC staff in order to ensure the proper import and export file format is produced.
15	Online bill pay is the option that gives your customers the opportunity to pay bill over the internet. We have a third party software vendor (BIS) that hosts an online payment site and lets the customers post their payments. You must have a website so that BIS can link to your website.

28	"In Utility Billing" In Utility Billing, control percentages define how much a reading will be allowed to increase or decrease from a previous reading before it is identified as an 'exception' that needs to be checked out. Control percentages allow the system to automatically analyze customer readings to identify situations where the reading might be exceptionally high or exceptionally low.

30	A "previous amount" can be determined by several factors: Service usage record for the same month for the last year Service usage record for the previous month An average reading for the previous year using the previous tenant's usage if necessary

33	"In the Utility Billing main..." In the Utility Billing main menu, option 10, Period End Process, option 7, Calendar Year-End Process allows the user to create the UBTRAN and UBREAD (if applicable) files for the new year.
