How do I close a business?

To close a business you need to go in the business maintenance screen and pull up the business, type in the "Close Date", press F9 Other, and choose License Schedules. F4 Maintenance on the schedule and type in the "Stop Date" for all schedules on this business.  When you run the License Renewal Report, the business will not show up on the report because of the closed status.

How do I delete a License/Tax?

Go to the System Options menu and choose Run Freestanding SCL. Type in RCF940. There is no lookup on the license number so you will have to know it and type it in.

When entering new license information, how can I show more than 1 type of class code?

You will need to add a new class code that would show the multiple codes.  In the License and Tax Menu, go to System, System, Ctl Files, and Class Code.  You can add the code here and then attach it to the business under Business Maintenance.  (Note: the class code has nothing to do with calculating the fees)
