Make sure your printer is online and ready to be printed to. If nothing is wrong with the printer, then you probably do not have any cases that have a problem that needs to be fixed. It is okay for nothing to print out on the edit report. If something does print, this means something is keeping that case(s) from hitting your TJIS report.

The diskette needs to be placed in the server when creating the TJIS report. The steps to run the TJIS report can be done from any workstation. If you email the TJIS report, you will need to put the TJIS diskette you created into a workstation with Windows.

You can email your TJIS file instead of mailing a diskette. After completing the TJIS process in TCAST, there will be a file on your diskette named STJS2.FLE. You may use the GroupWise email system on your PC to send this file to the AOC by following these steps:
· Place the diskette in the diskette drive on your PC and open GroupWise.
· Single-click on the Create New Mail button.
· In the To block, enter the following email address:
TJIS Reporting
· In the Subject block, enter the appropriate information.
· In the Message block, enter a message describing the file you are sending. ‘Bradley County Circuit - Criminal TJIS for February, 2002’.
· Left-click on the Attach button (the one with the paper clip) at the bottom right-hand corner of the window.
· When the Attach File window is displayed, left-click on the down-arrow located at the right of the Look in: prompt.
· When the list of sources is displayed, left-click on
3-1/2 Floppy {A:}.
· Double-click the filename of the TJIS file (STJS2.FLE), or single-click the filename and click OK.
· You will then return to the outgoing mail window, where the attached filename will be displayed in the bottom pane of the window.
· Click the Send button at the top right of the window. Your email with the attached TJIS file will then be transmitted.
